Annual Fundraising Celebration Event |

In 2026, the event is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th, from 1:30 to 4 PM
This year, our Board of Directors has decided to cancel our annual fundraiser, which had been scheduled for Sunday, September 27th. An imposter entered our shelter over the summer, using a hoax to gain entrance. Fortunately, no one was hurt. It seems likely that our home had been observed before the intrusion took place. Unfortunately, hoaxes of this nature have become common of late in Guatemala. Also, violent crime is once again on the rise, including in the area where our home is located. Concerned that we may still be being scouted and a second attempt to enter our home being concerned, it would be unwise for me to leave Guatemala for an extended period at this time. An honorary fundraiser is being held in lieu of the actual onsite event. Please consider purchasing a 'ticket' or two to support our honorary fundraiser, or make a general donation in support of Only A Child.
